At CWind we offer our clients bespoke and optimised temporary power solutions, throughout their construction and O&M cycles, using our in-house teams and resources to deliver bespoke integrated packages. This ensures that our customers will have a constant, efficient and safe power supply that is critical to the smooth and uninterrupted construction and maintenance of their wind farm.
We have a skilled, experienced and highly trained group of technicians that can be mobilised to a client’s site as required. Our people are at the core of everything we do and our success as a business, which is reflected in our commitment to continual improvement and striving for excellence across the full spectrum of Risk, Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (RQHSE).
We have achieved accreditation to OHSAS 18001:2007 and hold the RoSPA Gold standard and had the Order of Distinction for 19 consecutive years.
Our team has years of experience delivering tailored solutions through our engineering, project management and dedicated vessel solutions, for example, we placed 97 units offshore at Gode Wind 01 &02 OWF in the North Sea, with an SOV which was modified to deliver fuel with a fuel delivery system incorporated into the walk-to-work system. We have successfully delivered many full turnkey projects in the offshore wind sector, with a track record that represents our ability to meet and exceed each client’s individual requirements and expectations.
We also continuously explore innovative approaches of delivering our service that reduce costs, fuel burn, and emissions for our clients. This is part of CWind’s overall ethos: driving to reduce our C02 emissions, of which we have achieved a reduction of 35% over the last two years.
Our ability to mobilise quickly from bases strategically located close to our clients, with the right equipment and a skilled CTV crew, is core to our service delivery. We are able to achieve this through our dedicated, purpose-built and fuel-efficient fleet of crew transfer vessels (CTV), able to deliver fresh rather than fatigued personnel on-site to maximise their work window. We also have a large equipment pool in place, which provides the contingency required to minimise any down time on operations.
CWind has an excellent track record including the largest temporary power project to date and has provided temporary power and generator management solutions to some of the largest wind farms in the North Sea, Baltic Sea and Irish Sea. With years of experience and the ability to deliver a bespoke solution, we can handle the considerable technical and logistical challenges of providing temporary power for turbines far out to sea.
