Supporting Global Offshore Wind
CWind Training provided consultancy services to develop a state-of-the-art training centre in Taichung, Taiwan.
The Taiwan International Windpower Training Corporation (TIWTC) is now the leading GWO wind energy training centre in the country, delivering training in accordance with international regulations and providing courses to domestic and international wind power industry personnel.
CWind Training supported this development through various phases with an initial programme that covered facility design, recruitment and competency assessment followed by comprehensive train the trainer courses, quality management systems, accreditation and ongoing support.
Working in partnership to raise industry safety standards
CWind Training have a proven track record in developing relationships, specifically with colleges and educational institutes such as East Coast College and Furness College as well as delivering high quality development programmes for the Princes Trust.
CWind Training is a training partner for The East of England Offshore Wind Skills Centre (OWSC), a collaborative regional training and competence facility that provides support to local people wishing to reskill and gain sustainable employment in the offshore wind industry on the New Anglia Energy Coast.
In 2018, we partnered with Renewable Strategy to deliver GWO Basic Technical Training & GWO Blade Repair. Renewable Strategy’s mobile training solution and multi-site certification allows us to deliver training at our client’s site, eliminating technician travel, accommodation subsistence and overtime costs related to off-site training.
